Tourist Highlights in Gandhinagar
Gandhinagar is the capital of Gujarat in India and it sits between the largest city in Gujarat; Ahmedabad and the longest river; Sabarmati River. It is also one of the most famous attractions that bring thousands of tourists every year. The city has a combination of temples, monuments, gardens, national parks, and forts that are favorite highlights of Gandhinagar. The most famous highlight is a temple called Akshardham Temple, which is owned by an affluent religious order named "Swaminarayan Sect." The temple is most notably adorned by significant carvings etched into stones of pink that give the temple a more aesthetic appeal. Along with a majestic fountain and garden that surround the structure, it is one of the most attractive temples in the region. Another highlight in Gandhinagar are the two gardens which consist of Sarita Udyan and a Children's Park. Gandhinagar has a growing popularity with businessmen too: example is the raising amount of businesses started in India.

Adalaj Stepwell
Adalaj Stepwell is an architectural structure that has hundreds of steps that reach to the waters edge. Tourists enjoy walking down these many steps to get to the waters edge. The view of the river is magnificent from the top of the steps.
Capital Complex
The Capital Complex are modern and technical buildings that are the main center for legislative and government activities in the city. The building was built with a unique structure that has a domed roof situated on top of a podium that sits amidst a lake. This structure is called Vithalbhai Patel Bhavan. It is the location for the offices of the legislation body and the Vidhan Sabha. The laterals of the Vithalbhai Patel Bhavan are also connected to two other structures called Narmada Bhavan and Sardar Bhavan, which are also connected to a suspended corridor.
Gandi Ashram
The Gandi Ashram is a museum that celebrates the life and works of Gandi Mahatma. Tourists who favored Gandi during his teachings of enlightenment and inspiration make this is a stopping point to witness the bequest of his teachings.

The many shopping bazaars in the city of Gandhinagar offer tourists an assortment of bangles, pottery, bags, sarees, suits, shirts, kurtas, salwars, and shirts for men and women.
Craftmen's Village
Craftmen's Village has an assortment of cultural and traditional made handcrafts which are sold to the residents and tourists of Gandhinagar. The most famous of the handcrafts are printing artifacts that are made out of wood called "bandhni saris."
